Maybe the lines are longer because they are slower.

If you actually wait in a crowded Chick-fil-A drive through line, you are an idiot. You can just park and be in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Chick-fil-A was the slowest with an average time of 322.98 seconds or about 5 minutes and 23 seconds
So, double the time of the idiot who stays in his car......

I went for lunch and it wasnt terrible, drive through was packed but only had to wait 6-7 mins. They jacked my order up and the guy outside ran inside refunded my money and had my order remade before I got to the window again. Not to Bad...

So the time is somehow shortened because you're always moving?

People who wait in lines for fast food.

You stand in line for a new beer that is simply dry hopped a few more times than the exact same released beer from earlier

Pipe down you

I haven't.

Even if I had, drinking good beer at a fun brewery is different than getting shitty fast food and thinking it's awesome because the high school kid said "my pleasure."

No way they are slower than BK or popeyes.

You can be the only customer at our BK on Jackson, in or out. You can order a whopper and be asked to pull up. With no one behind you. They will take 10 minutes and bring you a vanilla shake

One of the popeyes here in Bham did that and I waited about 10 minutes after pulling forward. So, I go back inside and ask for my order and wait another 10 minutes for them to make it again. While waiting, I hear an employee in the back say to another something to the effect of "you won't believe it, someone actually came in and asked about their food".

Never change popeyes

I know you enjoy arguing, but are you really trying to say that it’s faster to wait in the long drive through line, than it is to park and go inside? Also, are you aware of what the word “less” means? This was a lame attempt at an argument, and you know it.

I agree with the earlier poster, they're the most efficiently run drive thru.

The service it top notch, the food is better than average, that's what keeps people coming back. Good food, better service. Consistently. What a thought. (looking at you Popeyes)

That's why there are always so many cars in the drive thru. But even at that, they run through those orders incredibly fast. It's a pretty efficient operation.

My sister (no pics) went through the McDonalds drive thru to get a simple cheeseburger and they had her pull off to the side and wait. I mean really. They don't have one burger ready to go?

There were no other cars before hers. Had to wait 10 more minutes to get the kids a simple cheeseburger.

They definitely are slower due to longer lines, but they are efficient as hell. I know people that work at the Gonzales CFA and they typically average 150-165 cars in an hour - or about 1 car every 20-25 seconds in the drive-thru. I guarantee you NO OTHER chain pulls that off

I'm always amazed at how quickly the Chick-fil-A by my house can get 25 cars ahead of me during peak times (double lines) their food in less than five minutes.

It would be better if they talked about their throughput or cycle time. Wait time probably just means they are much more popular.

Chick fil a drive thru's resemble a Nascar race starting lineup at all hours of the day and never takes more than - maybe 6 minutes.
I'd like to know how much this Houma location makes per day, always packed
