That's another corporation which raises prices quite often.
Again, economics. Again, fans want to complain about facilities and discuss how we have to keep up with the arms race of college football and then, in the next post, people like yourself want to question why the "average fan" is being priced out of the stadium. Can't have it both ways. Unless you have corporate sponsors floating the athletic budget, which we don't.

Hey Todd, what about the checks you write the AD for all those Canes signs in the stadiums? how about the free cars and vehicles given to the AD by car lots? you think that all the named restaurants in Tiger Stadium get to sell that shite for free? And, don't forget sponsorship from Nike... all that adds up to what is called corporate sponsorship...

I'm all for a business being able to raise prices, if the people are willing to pay. If you offer a quality product, the people will come. I think that most of you here don't realize that Baton Rouge is not the food mecca of La. If you look at the background of the older people in BR, you'll discover that they hail from Mississippi and Al. They are rednecks and bland food will always satisfy their tastes. Why do you think the New Orleans population, who lived in BR, post Katrina went back home? I know it wasn't just about the food, but the culture between the two cities are as different as night and day. BR natives would love it here in Montgomery.

Still worth 10 dollars for Caniac Combo?
Wendy's and Arby's a pretty pricey as well. You could go to a sit down place with a lunch menu for the price of an upsized combo at Wendy's or Arby's.

Without reading this whole thread, Canes needs some competition. Popeyes/churches/kfc aren't their comprtition. There needs to be an Abner's, Zazby's, or something to keep them in check.

I never said his reaction to his own consumer behavior was irrational. I was speaking from Cane's rational business decision point of view.
Then I have no idea what you are saying.

Why Canes has never done spicy fingers has always baffled me. Seems Graves could print more money with that simple addition.

1 item makes it much harder to screw up. Pretty much impossible to screw up 1 item. Once you add spicy chicken, the second option wrecks chaos on the system.

Well this thread inspired me to get Popeye's tonight. And as usual, the chicken was awesome. The 25 minute wait, however, was not and resulted in missing the entire 4th quarter of the Heat-Knicks game.

Oh come on, if the morons at Popeyes can make numerous types of chicken, I'm sure the college-attending workers of Canes can fry spicy and regular fingers. Not even whole pieces of chicken. Just fingers.

Given the fast food options around my office, Canes is the safest bet on actually getting what you ordered without waiting for 20 minutes in the drive thru. I haven't noticed any significant decrease in the size of the strips but I probably eat there only every three months or so.
I did get a little sticker shock last time I braved the Arby's drive thru. I think I got the medium sandwich combo and it was about $8.00. Seemed a little extreme for a roast beef sandwich and a handful of fries.

DId you go to Dempseys?
No, not yet. My friend said she didn't feel like eating seafood that night...but I promise I'm going to check it out in the near future.

Guthries fault for being lazy.
