Bought a bottle of decent gin and want to try something other than a gin and tonic. Was about to head to the store for some groceries and mixers

I enjoy French 75s, gin gimlets, and Tom Collins. All pretty easy to make and refreshing in the summer.

Check your recipe because that’s WAY too much salt. Perhaps you meant 1/4 tsp of salt

Sky Juice.

-Gin

Some recipes also call for nutmeg, but I usually leave it out.

Tom Collins

No idea what’s in it but it’s the only other drink I’ve heard of besides gin and juice.

It's really good when you muddle blackberries and mint in the syrup.

Fitzgerald

-1 1/2 oz gin (Tanqueray is a great base, but almost any good gin will do and is a great cocktail to experiment with different gins)
-1 oz simple syrup (1:1 sugar/water in a sauce pan on low heat to combine then refrigerated)
-3/4 oz lemon juice (fresh is best)
-2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Shake and strain into a chilled rocks glass.

Garnish with a lemon twist squeezed over the drink and swiped across the rim, and then dropped in
