Ate brunch there recently and I was not impressed. It’s been a little while since the last time we ate there. Last time food and service were really good. This time service was as I remembered it, but all of the dishes we got were sub par. Anyone else been theee recently?

Went once since the reopening (years ago). Food/service not good. Place was a mere shade of its former self. Have not returned and shall not.

I haven’t been impressed with it in years. I always mention it as being overrated and get downvoted, but I stand by my claim. They supposedly did a revamp not too long ago but my last visit was still subpar. I doubt I’ll ever go back because I’ve had 3 straight not-so-good meals there. There are too many other better options.

This is exactly how I feel. How can you bring me a warm towel after the meal when the shrimp and grits had 4 small peeled shrimp and the sauce tasted liked it came from a bag. If you want to be fine dining, step up the kitchen. We had dinner the night before at SoLou, and while the service left something to be desired, the food was great.

Juban's is underwhelming. The only thing good about it is the bar area.

Was about to post this. Bars in there are elite cocktail hour spots.

I find their brunch menu is not very appealing either.

I haven’t been in a long time, but they had a serious training issue on several of my visits. One beverage server had no idea how to open a bottle of wine. One used a leaky water pitcher, saw it was leaky, and didn’t change it out due to I assume nervousness.. so we all got our laps covered in water.

They used to do a jazz brunch (maybe still do), but the space didn’t work for the volume they played, so you couldnt speak to anyone at your table and it was in your ear.

I say this as someone whose rehearsal dinner was there. lol.

We haven't been back in years. Went twice after it was remodeled and the food wasn't very good.

The service the second time was absolutely terrible. I'm never going back.

We ate there a lot in 2005-6 after evacuating to BR when Katrina destroyed our home. Back then we really enjoyed it. The softshell crab was excellent. But that was 20 years ago. Haven't been back since. Sorry to hear it's not as good today.

I went today for lunch and got the Redfish Adrian and it was disgusting.

Also went about 10 mins without having any water once our appetizer was brought out.

Wanted to not believe what everyone else was saying but I can confirm it’s gone down badly.
