I am sensitive to caffeine. It hits me strong and if I take in a lot it leaves me with a bit of a hangover of sorts. I'll feel really sluggish and have brain fog once the caffeine wears off. I buy caff and decaf beans and grind them together to make half caff at home, and I usually get half caff from coffee shops.

Also plenty of people love coffee but can't have the caffeine due to heart and blood pressure problems.

Idk if decaf has that same effect

Take it from me, it does. I don't understand how, but it does. Caffeinated coffee hits me harder in that regard, but decaf gets things flowing too.

Why do the they have:
whole milk vs skim
Sugar vs fake
Coke vs diet
Meat vs no meat
Why post this topic vs not posting this topic

I have no idea. I really like the taste of coffee and drink it black, but if decaf is the only option I will just drink water

Some folks can't handle caffeine, and nothing tastes better than a cup of coffee. I find, after three or four cups of coffee, I get the caffeine shakes, so there are days I switch to caffeine, because I still love coffee, caffeine or not.

This is me right here. Without the caffeine it’s just bitter brown water.

Then you answered your own question.

Well. You’ve actually made me think. Do I like the coffee or the taste of coffee?

Because I don’t eat coffee ice cream and tiramisu is whatever IMO.

Weird.

Because I didn't know I was sensitive. I built up a tolerance, and I just felt like shite anytime I didn't drink them. I thought something was wrong with me. It was a self-sustaining cycle, but I didn't realize it until I broke it. It also so happens that my thyroid was out of whack, which is probably why I started drinking them to begin with.

In fairness, most coffee flavors in food are awful. I like tiramisu, though.

However, I also drink it for the caffeine and for starting the day.
Do you really need caffeine to wake up?

For coffee lovers with high blood pressure, Decaf offers a bit of satisfaction.

I couldn't find a decaf with chicory anywhere. I just blend the two together.

So people like my MIL can order a decaf cappuccino at a restaurant and then complain because it's not up to their standards.

Love everything about coffee. If I drink it after or so, interferes with my sleep later. Decaf solves the problem.

Say you drink coffee all your life, then you develop high blood pressure, or come down with heart failure. Switch to that decaf. I think O’douls is more ridiculous than decaf
