I do not post on the board much but always am on it. Did not see it posted yet, they announced it on twitter. Sorry at 21 probably the only college kid that does not own a cell phone.

I personally am not from New Orleans, but still have a very deep affinity Bud's. Say what you want, when you have been drinking its pretty good.

Anyways, thought for a lot of New Orleans people it would be kind of cool. For LSU area residents, and really the entire area, especially sporting events, they should kill it. Think they could not have picked a better location in all of Louisiana. It is going where Rotolo's, and the Dive Bar was located, and will have a drive thru I believe. Also it will have a walk-up feel and open dining area. Sorry haha for the tech issues, wish I could post pics.

Think this could be the first step in making that area a little better and I think especially on football gamedays, everyone could benefit, and it makes BR look better.

Buds (sorry for the tech ineptness)

My family will be regulars at this location.
Is there a link?

Added one

As like you, I am pumped for this and think it all around is a great deal. LSU believe it or not will benefit as a university, fans benefit, students benefit, BR residents that have nothing to do with LSU or spots benefit, and lastly drunk Tigerland goers thanks for the post on the OT topic as well. With it being walking distance, and friendly to walk-ups, anything to help end drunk driving forever.

Excellent. Love that shredded cheese on the burger and the best wiener on a hot dog bun ever.

Little known fact, Buds broiler was founded by a nephew of the owner of Holiday House in Austin. Broiled Burgers with grated cheese and Hickory sauce, is an Austin original dating back from the 1930s. Holiday House was shut down a while ago by the daughter of their previous landlord. The daughter was your classic PETA crazy who hated hamburgers.

Top Notch still serves the classic broiled burgers with hickory sauce, and if you're in Dallas, you can go to Goffs or Harvey's

Across Florida in the strip mall where the Sports place is.

It was good, but nothing outstanding.

Tigerland will be gutted one day and be prime real estate...problem today is that they have run most of the criminals out of gardere and they have ended up there....

WTF? Buds is top tier. You'd don't have to be drunk to know it's the GOAT.

no question though the consensus so far is surprising
I know people who don't like buds which to be honest is why we are not friends
