Name some of you favs from the past and why:

1) The Mirror Steakhouse - My parents would always give to the choice of a Bday Party or a night out to eat..........no brainer for me and they always took me to the Mirror. First time I ever saw a Lobster.....

2) Peking Gardens - Slammin Zombies and MaiTai's before going out to drink........

3) Wesleys Pizza - What can now be had at Pasttime was a childhood fav when this place was in the Broadmoor Shopping Center.

4) Shakey's Pizza - What a fantastic concept with Little Rascals and Laurel & Hardy films, live Dixieland Music and the 1st Black Beer I had ever saw. Thin Crust Pizza.........

What y'all got??

I'll second Micky's Golden Nugget and add Jack Sabin's and the original Village.

alligator sippy cups!

China Express. Without a doubt the best egg rolls that I have ever had. Everything on that old school menu above the counter (where you had to put the letters in yourself) was amazing.

Chelsea's moved under the overpass years ago and is very good and very popular. Go check it out. The lost the daiquiri and poker machines and added some great food and good atmosphere. Still have live music at night.

The Big-O from Fast Track was awesome.

Dajonels was great when it was clicking.

Not a restaurant, but K&B is returning to Kenilworth shopping center. I hope they still sell K&B beer and vodka.
