This is the new wing/daiquiri shop opening in the former boucherie location. Anybody know if/when they are open?

I had heard it may open this month but I'm not sure that it's open just yet.

Thanks! Saw the sign up on my way to the parades yesterday. I can't wait to get a good wing shop in the neighborhood. Hopefully this is the place, although I'm admittedly not big on daiquiris.

Bump for an update.
Article from nola
This looks like an extended soft opening before the official move to Nino's. I might stroll over and try something this weekend.

Day drinkers, take note: Bourrée, the wings and daiquiri shop from Boucherie, finally opens at noon on Friday (May 8). A series of snafus and complications delayed the debut, which originally was planned for last fall.

1.To start, Bourrée will serve three daiquiris, three to four styles of wings and beer. More snacks and small plates will be added later.
2.Bourrée will open with a gin and tonic daiquiri, a hurricane daiquiri and -- if the fruit at the farmers markets looks good -- a strawberry daiquiri.
3.The style of wings include classic Buffalo and smoked jerk.
4.The six taps pour only regional beers, including a pineapple wheat from newcomer Chandeleur Brewing of Mississippi.
5.Bourrée takes over the original Jeannette Street location of Boucherie, which in February moved around the corner to a larger space on South Carrollton Avenue.

In a few months, however, Bourrée will find a permanent home in the nearby building that is now Cafe Nino. When that move happens, Bourrée will include a Cajun-style meat market. A sangría daiquiri also will be added to honor Nino and his famed generosity with red wine.
7.In French, the word "bourrée" means stuffed. It's also a dance, a Cajun card game and slang for being drunk.

Maybe you'll quit going to ale every weekend now then bitch about how bad it sucks on here later in the week.

Building that was a Steak and Egg, that was dirty and nasty. Served some good food, but it was awful.

Good to hear! I'm looking forward to trying those wings. The gin and tonic daiquiri sounds...interesting.
I am a little sad to hear that Cafe Nino is on its last few months. That's been my go to for pizza recently and I'll miss the place for sure.

I know two people who went who live near it...6 wings for $7 (and they said the wings were very good) but that the drink prices are steep. $10 for a daquiri and $6 for a beer. My friend said they'd go back again for the wings but that the drinks are pricey.

Those drink prices are not necessarily out of line. If its a pint pour on draft, that's the norm, and for a well made daquiri, $10 is reasonable.

They are using local high quality ingredients too. Can't compare $ to the normal drive thru kennerbrah shite.

What's wrong with $6 bucks for a beer & $10 bucks for a daiquiri ?

For an upgrade from Miller/Bud/Coors. Yep.

The wings look really good! The drink prices aren't really that high when you consider the quality of what you're getting. Anybody know how big those daiquiris are for $10?
I'm sad to hear cafe Nino is getting bumped. I love the pizza at that place, especially on a Friday night.
