Combination of it being first and then some confirmation bias.

Or maybe it just is a little better.

Has anyone tried the Kirkland light beer from Costco?
I always see it and wonder how it stacks up to the big box beers because all other Kirkland stuff I have tried is good.

I’d like to know if on the second tasting, they knew it was the same beer.

But IMO coors is much better than Miller or bud and especially better than anything corona and mich ultra.

Agree there. I'd switch it with High Life, personally.

LOL at all the rednecks at the river, actually anywhere, making sure you see them hammering their Michelob Ultra. Terrible.

I would have liked to see Natty included. Busch and Keystone, but no Natty?

They make a High Life Lite now? That’s a travesty.

I've tried so hard to get myself to like it. I can't do it. If its super cold it's tolerable, but once it warms a little it's so bad. Has a sweet taste to it.

Guy who wrote that article used to be a cops reporter for The Advocate about 15 years ago. He's since moved on to Chicago and now writes about tourism and beer. He just wrote a book about the rise of the craft beer industry and the sale of Goose Island that has been getting good reviews.

Totally agree. An old roommate used to have the fridge full of them all the time. So one night I tried one....it tasted... spoiled or something.

Coors Light or High Life (if that counts) ftw

I hate Coors light. Mic ultra is well placed.

There's a reason why most craft breweries don't focus on "light" lagers and pilsners. They are boring beers. These results don't surprise me all that much. I rarely, if ever, get a "light" lager or pilsner when I buy craft beer.
