The least of my favorites among the “highly sought after” bourbons.
It should be a $30 bourbon, not $60+.
Why not open it? Open it, two fingers, one cube of ice, let sit for 3 mins, enjoy.

I would buy it regularly when it used to be readily available.
The last few years it’s been hard to find for me.

Stared at a bottle on a Supermarket shelf for a few weeks at $55. Already had a bottle at the house so decided to buy it yesterday to give as a Christamas gift.

Prime example of people buying packaging due to looks and good marketing by product placement in films.
If it was in a normal looking bottle it would be a $30 bottle of booze.

It’s made by buffalo trace so just buy a bottle of BT for half the cost, you can barely taste a difference and they’re both excellent whiskey

They are both what started out as 8 year Old Charter, Sazerac simply redid the packaging and upped the price.

Can't find it anywhere here in KC area. Have a friend on royal Caribbean cruise right now bringing me back two bottles. They have a bunch on ships for sale

Bet it is a bottle with an 8 on it but it is un-aged whiskey, they were sued for selling it the US.
ALL the aged supply was retained by Sazerac for rebranding
