GFY

Billy’s smoked boudin is the greatest boudin on earth.

Now I can’t speak for the non smoker because the smoked is just so good I never get anything else.

Also, don’t you think there’s a reason why there are usually long lines at Billy’s? Because they’re the best.

I mean, the location hasn’t hurt their reputation either. They are accessible and good.

But the best boudin I’ve had has come from some back road places

I agree that’s part of the problem. The other part is they take forever to serve and ring up.

But I don’t care.

I’m the pickiest, most peculiar, annoying mofo on this entire site when it comes to food. Billy’s Boudin is a statewide treasure and a must for anyone who enjoys food.

Fight me.

I prefer Kartchners and some of that is bc I like shopping in Kartchners better. Seems like they also have a bigger selection of the specialties.

Billy's is delicious and if you don't think it's worth the wait, good. I don't need anyone with poor taste standing in line clogging it up further.

I’ve had them all and Billy’s is my favorite. Give me some smoked boudin and chicken crackilin from Billy’s and I’m a happy man.

Change my mind.

I'd agree, but not compared to Don's and Best stop. Haven't had kartchners yet, and I thought it was pretty bold if them to drop shop right in the middle of all of them. That wasn't accidental, so they must have something there. However, I will say this, don't get the regular boudin, get Billy's smoked boudin, that is night and day different and better.

Duckroost in St Amant

I’ve been here for 13 years and I have yet to step inside Duckroost. They got fried boudin balls? May have to try them one of these days.
