Not sure this helps but in Gulf Shores there was a joint years ago called Gulf Shores Steamer, I think, that was good.

Not a whole lot of good seasoned food in the area. Lagniappe and Wolf Bay Lodge are ok.

We ate at Gulf Shores Steamers in Feb. it wasn't very good. Now I am comparing it to Old Bay Steamers in Ft. Walton, which is one the best I've been to.

Ended up at gulf shores steamers. It was great. Crab legs were a bit small but royal reds and crab cakes were awesome. Pretty reasonable prices too.

Yeah We really like it too.Its on our list for when we go in July.The Royal reds didnt "wow" me like I thought the would.
