There was a recipe for grilled redfish on the Outdoor Board when there was a recipe thread. Don't know if it's still there, I don't have the recipe with me. I did not think it sounded all that great but tried it anyway b/c the hubby catches lots of redfish. Anyway it was really good, from memory it was topped with mayo, Parmesan, chopped scallions, lemon slices w/pats of butter. Grill scale side down, I was surprised at how good it was!
:rotflmao: sounds like my kind of place
We ate at Gulf Shores Steamers in Feb. it wasn't very good. Now I am comparing it to Old Bay Steamers in Ft. Walton, which is one the best I've been to.
If you go to Vintij, be sure to get a reservation. Check their website, they have some wine-tasting dinners coming up. Aside from the strip center it really is a great restaurant.

Town took forever to finish Sammy's in Central, too.
And wasn't there a 'restaurant review' thread that was sticky-ed? Bring 'em both back!
Grilled redfish
Gotcha, thanks Gris Gris
I just realized I have not heard from Martini lately, where is he?

We eat there about once a month or so, we like it.

Sonny's is legit BBQ, IMHO.
Tailgated in TV2 for 7-8 years, there are 5th wheels and travel trailers in there. Have not heard of any changes for next season, but I would check with the Athletic Dept. before making a purchase.

Yes, Mam you are right! Central does not need another Chinese restaurant, nail salon, hair salon OR credit union! LOL
I just noticed today that they are working on a location in Central, I've never dined there - how is the food?
The freshmen are stepping up in a big way, a lot of the older girls are injured right now. Loemincia(sp?) has got it goin ON with her floor routine! Fun to watch all these girls.

Just got home from the meet, always enjoy it. Didn't realize there were 4000 fans there, I did notice there was more fans than usual. :geauxtigers:
You would be surprised, it is one of our go-to dips for tailgating, has been for years. The entire family loves it.
Here's an easy dip:
3 - 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (can use light)
16 - oz. jar picante sause (mild, med or hot - your choice)
Put in food processor until mixed well. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. Serve with Frito Scops.
Quantities can be adjusted easily, this recipe will go a long way. We call it Pink Dip.

Sullivan's royally messed up our Valentine reservations a couple of years ago. Friends without reservations got seated before us, after waiting almost an hour after our reservation time, we left. Will not be back.
