The Steakhouse in Hammond Louisiana. Their tuna steaks are out of this world.

Maybe not the best steak, but for the pure experience and bucket list restaurant, Berns in Tampa.

Ok if you say so.

If you walk out of Crescent City Steakhouse and are blown away by your meal, I highly encourage you keep going. It's good, but I just don't feel that strongly about it or any other steakhouse I've been to.

I'm simply giving my personal opinion, not trying to dictate how others should feel about this subject.

I did a tasting menu there and definitely agree that it's a really great place. Is it considered a steakhouse? Honestly would never have guessed that if so.

Nothing stands out after the OT Ballers have eaten at them all.

Probably not considered a Steakhouse, but it was the best steak I ever ate so I consider it the best steakhouse

That's a fair reason, I'll upvote you for that.

Anytime anyone asks for Vegas recs, I tell them Sage is a must. Like I said, I didn't have the steak, but the four course tasting menu I had was outstanding.

Just for the hell of it, I’ll answer the OP inquiry-

I think Del friscos double eagle is the best steakhouse I’ve been to.

Prime (Bellagio), Steve Wynn steakhouse and mastros (another chain) are just about as good.

This is how I am. It's the only food I'm like that with. I can just get a prime steak from the store and do a great job at home instead of spending $40 to $50 on a steak at a good place.

I love to eat out, but just prefer non steak places these days if I'm paying.

I think the great thing about a top tier steakhouse is the consistency.

This.

When it comes steakhouses, or any restaurant for that matter, consistency is key because a restaurant is only as good as it's current staff. You may go to what is considered a high-end steakhouse and have the best steak of your life. Then you may go back a few weeks later, order the same steak and it turn out to be mediocre. All because it just so happened to be a different chef cooking your steak.
