I didn’t understand all the fuss. It was a good steak, but nothing about the place blew me away.

You must have not went to Mons Venus after, it’s necessary for the complete experience

Bavette's (Chicago) was my favorite until I got the duke at RPM Steak (Chicago). Unreal.

Pappas Bros Steakhouse-Dallas.

Incredible steakhouse....the impeccable service (You're treated like a god), the extremely knowledgeable wait staff, the extensive wine list, the bar drinks, the best melt in your mouth steaks and, omg, the au gratin potatoes.

I'm not wild about steakhouses but Mr. John's in New Orleans is probably my favorite.

In New Orleans check out Crescent City Steakhouse on Broad. Ever since the original Chris' closed down after Katrina, it's whee the locals go and he steaks there are very good better than Dickie Brennan's and today Chris' check it out

Rainwater in San Diego (RIP) was my favorite. I have always enjoyed Mr. Lester's as well.

Hard to believe it’s been 9 years since they closed. Another casualty of the Great Recession of 2008.

this seems more of a nostalgia place now.

Cant speak on it being better than Dickie Brennans but it for sure isnt better than Ruth's.

I love La Boca. I like going and getting the non-traditional cuts they have.

Agree. Went last year. Wasn't impressed. Not bad, just not great.

Dickie's is not that good. Great atmosphere, great service but there steaks are just average compared to other NOLA steakhouses.

Doris is great. Mr John's is great.
