Chop House is my favorite and I have been to them all many times. If you want a unique off the beaten path experience, La Boca is really good. I honestly can't say that I don't like the others - they are all really good, but Chophouse is my personal favorite. I like the Pittsburgh style searing on the steaks and stone crab. Best key lime pie you have ever eaten. Great reasonable wine list. Live music every night. Generous pours of liquor.

Mr. John's.

Never had Delmonico's, but I hear it is right up there as well.

Fairly certain that's Desi Vega's new home.

I'm all confused now.

I thought Shula's is/was on Canal in one of the hotels.
I'm pretty sure that Desi Vega's is in the old Mike's on the Avenue location.

You're right. I'm the wrong person to ask. I eat at steakhouses only when family obligations arise.

Ok guys don't murder me but I'm curious why does everyone hate Dickie brennons? Wife and I went a couple years back and loved it.

I'm not saying its the best in town just don't get why it's compared to dog meat around here

Love Dickie Brennan's too. Never had a bad meal there and always tremendous service. Don't understand why it never gets any love by TD

If you read the question, that was the advice to give. Just because you have suggested Desi's before doesn't give you sole ownership of recommending it.
I hope you have never suggested Peche, as I clearly suggested it to you. You of course dismissed(foolishly) it and then tried and were "Amazed"....

No, rarely go to steakhouses. Ruth Chris's Sunday. Yawn!

Four of us went to Chophouse and no one really cared for their steaks.
I have sadly never been to La Boca but Mr John's is my number one. As others have said, Desi Vega's is the same exact steak as Mr John's.

Usually people are dogging Brennan's which has taken a nosedive, and not Dickie Brennan's. Different restaurants.

Dickie's is good. Its not as good as some of those other places, but it is good.
