Sweat heat for the win.

I feel this question needs to define parameters. Does potato chip include potato crisps, peatos, corn chips, tortilla chip, corn snacks, Cheetos cheese flavored snack, etc.?

i get these but are Pringles not potato chips? Honest question.

To answer the OP. It's still Zapp's Crawtaters but, the quality has slipped since the sale.

Zapp's Cajun Dill Taters
Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream
Lays Sour Cream & Onion

Pringles are still potato chips- it's just dried first.

Not potato chips, but Garden Salsa Sun Chips are in the running, too.

See, according to offshoreangler and all the downvoters, sun chips can not be in the running.

I'm actually liking the Ruffles Jayson Tatum Flaming Hot BBQ.

Cape Cod Original, as well.

i mean, they are chips made from potatoes. just not fried, right?

i stand corrected.

Pringles are made from dried potato flakes, not raw slices (via Food Network). This cannot be waived off as a potayto-potahto situation. There is a big difference in the manufacturing process, look, taste, and feel of the chips depending on this whether the chips are made from raw or dehydrated potatoes. Traditional potato chips are made by slicing raw potatoes into pieces that are between .035 and .070 inches thick (via Science Direct), but Pringles uses dried potatoes, which are ground into small granules. This mix is then sifted to filter out any larger flakes before adding a bunch of other ingredients. Pringles is anything but the standard potato chip.
