I'm having trouble thinking of a good poboy in that immediate area, but Cochon Butcher is a great casual spot that has some awesome sandwiches and other things.

If your goal is not to go far look to Acme. It ain't the best, but it will work.

Mike Serio’s will be the closest or simply use Uber eats.

As others have said I would forget a poboy in that area and go to Butcher. It’s better than 99% of poboys anyway.

If you don’t mind taking an Uber or streetcar you can go Parkway or Guy’s or Domilise. Or Bevi.

Third. I do a lot of trade shows and I love going to Corporation. Have a bowl of jambalaya or sandwich, a cold cheap beer in a bottle, and just space out for 30 minutes before going back in the building to all the noise and schmoozing.

Why should I do that? Will it make a difference other than spit in my cured meat?

Johnny's roast beef is great. They have a lot of solid po boys. Not a bad walk.
