Deep fried roast beef poboy from Jacques-Imo’s after many a beer. It was outstanding.
Until I ran the rock n roll half the next morning and had to stop on mile 4 before I shite my pants.

Hard to nit pick which is best. The one that stands out the most was my first hot sausage poboy @ Guy's. I didn't grow up in NOLA nor did I know what hot sausage was before that. I wonder why they don't make more sausage in patty form?

Qwik Chek on Clearview.. Not sure if they re still owned by the same people. It's been years since I have been there.. Great RB, Shrimp and grilled Ham poboys.
Right after Katrina some people broke in and started cooking before the stuff went bad.. Nobody called the cops and from what I heard the owner didn't care..

Had one of the best shrimp po boys with my grandfather at a hole in the wall place in Madison, MS in the 90's.
Had an excellent roast beef po boy with an old friend at Radosta's in Metairie 10 years ago.
Always enjoy the oyster po boy at George's on Highland and Essen with my grandmother everytime I visit her.
Simply put, a good po boy is better when enjoyed with family and friends!

Lafayette peeps, help me out here...I think it was called The Chris Special (?) at Fezzo's. I believe it's at the Scott/Cankton exit. Fried shrimp, catfish, crawfish and oyster, dressed.
If you're ever in Boutte for lunch stop in at Anita Burger and get their shrimp poboy. Best I've ever had and we grew up on Danny & Clyde poboys.

Fried oyster poboy at the Sacred Heart Fair in Norco. Perfectly fried oysters by Mr Bobby Robicheaux, buttered bread, a few pickles and crystal hot sauce. Absolutely delicious!
Second place is roast beef debris poboy at Mr Totsi Migliore’s in new Sarpy.

You eat anywhere good in BSL?
ETA: I can do some major damage to a finger sandwich tray from Claiborne.
