Guaranteed it will not work out the way you think and the way it's presented.
I’d be happy with any help or improvements in this area and I’d think anyone who is a wage earner would look at this as a win. I’m super optimistic about it and want to read about the details in the bill.
I work in a Chem Plant and get alot of OT. I just saw that this bill was passed in the House. If it passes the Senate does this mean that I won’t be paying taxes on all the OT that I work? Does anyone have any idea how this will work? This seems like a great thing for all the Plant workers in and around this area. I haven’t seen this aspect talked about much but to me this would be huge for the Baton Rouge and Lake Charles areas with all the plants up and down the river.

Some of good brands to consider are…

Tethrd - all their products are good and cool designs.

Latitude- really cool stuff. This is what I have for saddle and a Tethrd platform.

Buzzard Roost is a local Louisiana brand. I’ve heard good things about them.

Budget but good quality is XOP. I have some of their sticks.

Saute onion, bell pepper and a Serrano or jalapeño until soft. Chunk up some trout fillets and toss in the skillet with sautéed veg mix until fish starts to break apart. Scoop fish veg mix on tortillas and enjoy. Wife will usually make a mango salsa to put on top of tacos. Ca cest bon
I was in that area too and saw the same guy doing exactly as you described. Crazy.
Family will be coming in town Friday and wants Crawfish for lunch. I know LT’s in Broussard has them for lunch but does anyone know of any other places in the area? Thanks
I’ve eaten at the one in The Woodlands a few times and always loved it. Good pizza in my opinion.
I thought the owner of Olde Tyme’s name was Murph or something like that.

Saddle hunters are into shaving off weights on everything and the smaller 8mm ropes will weigh less. They’ll all work fine but like someone else said the ascender will be different. I use a 9mm and use the Kong ascender because wildman or ropeman won’t work for the smaller ropes.

Plumbers -Lafayette

Got a call from renters that tub drain was draining slow on Tuesday. I went out that afternoon after work and put commercial drano (Thrift) down drain but it didn’t unclog it. I decided to come back out Wednesday with a handheld 1/4” 25’ drain snake to unclog it.

I show up Wednesday morning to snake it and renter informs me that toilet stopped flushing (overflowing) overnight. I snake tub drain with 25’ and still clogged.

I then go rent a 50’ 1/2” electric snake with a 1” bit and run all 50’ but it doesn’t unclog it. So I call plumber but they can’t come until Thursday afternoon. Renters are pissed and get a hotel room for the night, both have work next day.

Plumber guys show up next day and quote me $1,050. I was in a pinch with renters so I had to pay it and couldn’t shop around. They pulled toilet and jetted it and got it in two hours. $1,050 for two hours work without changing out anything other than maybe a wax ring on toilet.

I’m shocked by this pricing. Is this normal?

Here’s a picture for reference. Would rather not stain it. It would be easier if I could spray it on and stain would make a mess on concrete and metal roof. Would clear sealer work?
It’s an exposed beam metal roof outdoor pavilion on a slab. 10x10 post. It has roof but everything is exposed to bugs and humidity and wind blown rain. All kiln dried pine. I’m wondering what I should treat it with to help with moisture and bugs. Stain, water sealant, I’ve seen some people burning it with some Japanese technique, etc..,
We recently built a vaulted pavilion in our back yard using kiln dried pine rough cut beams. What would be the best way to treat the lumber? We’re thinking of spraying it with clear sealant. Would this suffice?
Does anyone know if this applies to Indian Bayou? It’s an Army Corps property. Bow usually closes on Feb 15.
They have an episode of The First 48 on Frenchy’s murder.

I-10 Opening

Does anyone know when I10 will be opening? I can’t imagine why it’s still closed with the temps almost in the 50’s. I live in Lafayette and work in BR and hate taking 190. It adds almost an hour to my trip and I have work Friday morning really early.
