Olde Tyme Grocery (shrimp poboy)
Deano's (pizza/burger - one of the best burgers anywhere)
La Pizzeria (pizza)
Dwight's (plate lunch)
Just outside of Lafayette, Cafe des Amis in Breaux Bridge
Cafe Vermillionville for more upscale dining

poches just outside of Lafayette is very good, but it is served cafateria style for lunch, and I don't know if they are open for dinner.
They make smothered rabbit, pork back and gravy, beef and gravy. Most of the stuff they make is made is go over rice

It's not Cajun, but Da Jerk Stop in Youngsville hasn't been mentioned yet.

Jerk shop? Good?
It's one of my new favorite spots. Authentic Jamaican food for a reasonable price. They do have some tables but it's not a fancy place, more like a Subway setting. The food is good and they do curry goat on Wednesdays and oxtail Thursdays.
