Wingin' It on Jefferson at HooShooToo has some that are locally made. I think they are as good or better than Pinmanyoli's. They're served in a big bowl of the broth which also is a plus.

I agree what you say about the list, I think they actually say most loved novels and when a 6th grader which has only read Harry Potter can vote then the list reflects that. I can’t ever imagine a world where I will ever read the Twilight or Fifty Shades books.
Check out the list here.. These are the top 100 novels compiled by a PBS survey. They are doing a series this summer and ending this fall with voting determining the winner. I have made this my new "to read" list. I have only read 37 of the 100 so I have a long way to go. If nothing on there interest you The Name Of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss is my personal favorite that didn't make the list.

Once you smoke corned beef it's called Pastrami. Corned beef is just brined then boiled.

I've dealt with both of these and they are top notch. Boo's doesn't deal directly to the public but use these guys 1st quality they were also very good

If you're in Baton Rouge the new Premium Large Format theaters at Celebrity on George O'neal with Dolby ATMOS are absolutely amazing.
watched the explicit versions, thought it was hilarious. Hopefully they will release season 2 soon.

Louis Tridico's Last Island. Story takes place in the basin around the Henderson area. Tridico is from Louisiana, went to LSU and worked for the EBR Sheriffs dept.

this line of thinking is exactly how we ended up with tomatoes in gumbo and jambalaya.
