Pizzeria da Baffetto in Rome. They crack an egg in the center and toss it in a woodfired oven. You bust the yolk and let it run over the rest of the pizza.

The only sort of pizza I don't like is deep dish Chicago style....it's a casserole, to me.

It's a goddamn traveshamockery that stuffed as become the face of Chicago pizza. Chicagoans are much more into tavern-style thin crust than they are stuffed. When I lived up there, rarely did anyone I know get stuffed on a consistent basis...it was a once in a while kind of thing.

Chicago thin crust is the best pizza around, with NY style a very close second. The best I've had is from a place called Ach n' Lou's in Aurora, IL.

Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas

The 550 place or whatever it’s called at aria is better.

I go back n forth whether my absolute favorite is Lou malnatis butter crust deep dish, or a perfect slice of NY pizza (my personal favorite is bleecker st pizza in nyc).

Lou’s is more unique, whereas I can at least get a good NY style slice almost anywhere.

Lou Malnati’s will ship a pizza. Anyone tried that before?

Yes, I order them once a year. It’s the best quality frozen pizza you’ll ever eat. Slather the pan up with butter prior to sticking it in the oven.

The best pizza in Dallas is made by a family from Waukegan that is super thin crust. They always say nobody where they are from eats deep dish.

My buddy from Philly says hardly anyone in Philly eats Philly Cheesesteaks. Only time they do is when someone from out of town comes to visit them and wants to eat one.

Not the "best" pizza, but the one I enjoyed the most was a frozen deep dish one I used to get when I lived in Des Moines. I can't remember the name, but it bar none the best frozen pizza I've ever had. I would always get it after a really stressful week and it was just the tits.

I’ve had a ton of pizza in NY. I’ve had Lou Malnati’s and Giordano’s in Chicago. This will be totally rando, but there’s a place called IL Ritrivo in Sheboygan, WI that makes the best pizza I’ve personally ever had. Neopolitwn style. Amazing. If you ever go up to Kohler to play Blackwolf Run or Whistling straights, be sure to hit it up.

Johnny’s Pizza in the 80’s. Couldn’t be beat.

A place called Mia’s I believe outside of Ft. Gordon, GA had insane pizza.

Terry’s Pizza was my go to when I lived in Huntsville.

Geno’s East in Chicago was very good. I know, tourist crap.

I think it’s just called Dough in San Antonio. Very good gourmet pizza.

Pizzeria Uno in Chicago. Big Chicago style fan. Tortugas here in Birmingham is a close approximation.

Deluca’s Pizza

Went there from this board recommendation, was not disappointed.

My personal favorite is unconventional. Hole in wall called Evan's in west Philadelphia. Double crust stuffed cheesesteak pizza with marinara dipping sauce.
