Pizza Delicious
Soft spot in my heart for BJ's, which is definitely better than Johnny's. I've definitely had pies that were better elsewhere, but that's not the topic at hand.

Ancora and Domenica. Still haven't tried Pizza Delicious, so I'll hold judgment on possibly adding them to the list.

For a traditional American style pizza, it's pretty fricking amazing.

Pizza D, Mid City, Moes, Roma (Pville)
S&G is the best pizza I have had in BR, that is still open. Granted it was past midnight and I may have been drinking.

A regular cheese and pepperoni from MCP is fantastic but I found the veggies and peppers on the supreme to be raw. The wings are my favorite thing on their menu.

Reginelli's, followed by Ben's.
Specifically, a Tony's Pick from Reginelli's.

Pizza delicious is great. But you really just can't beat a BJs pizza and a Dr Pepper.

I don't think there is any way in hell to say a certain pizza is "best".
I had a tremendous 5-pound pizza from Godfather's years ago because the order was 2+ hours late. The manager made the pizza himself and delivered it after hours - it was one of the best pizzas I ever had.
The NY style pizza from Brooklyn Pizzeria and Zita's in Metairie are terrific.
I've had Chicago-style deep dish pizza from That's Amore in Metairie and from Connie's, Gino's East and Pizza Uno in Chicago that were indistinguishable from each other.
I've had "The Works" pizzas from Papa John's that were top notch. I've had pizzas from Pizza Hut that were great, too. When I was in college at LSU, the Domino's pizzas were money. I've never had better sauce than those pizzas, and their crust was similar to PJ's today, which I consider very good.
And I have made some at home that were as good as these. I have a Hobart mixer, an oven that goes up to 550 and a pizza stone on steroids called a HearthKit that unfortunately is no longer available. I usually use Peter Rienhart's dough recipe that is amazing.
I never had the "Sweep the Kitchen" from Johnie's even though it was highly recommended to me.

For good ole regular pizza, I find it very hard to beat Mama D's in Abita.
Also, I agree that Brooklyn pizzeria in Metairie is a seriously good spot.
