Deano's Cajun Canaille is my favorite nontraditional
That one is good. Here's what their menu claims it includes:
Cajun Canaillle (Mischievous Cajun)
Shrimp, louisiana smoked sausage, and jalapenos.
I lost my mind and got this one once:
Cajun Executioner
Some like it hot - and this pizza will kill your spicy cravings! pepperoni, hot sausage, spicy shrimp, fresh onions, bell peppers and a lot of jalapenos!
I had weird dreams and woke up feeling like I didn't get any sleep. Left half of it in the fridge in my hotel room.
I like their Combo Italiano
Pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, onions, beef and Italian sausage
I live in Rustin and those are my go to ingredients for Johnny's.

I look for three things - a crispy handmade crust, a wood or coal burning stone oven, and high quality toppings. Based upon these criteria, my winner is Domenica at the Roosevelt.

Why limit this topic to just Louisiana?? The best pizza in the USA is Fleur De Lis' Round-The-World.
You have to add extra sauce. And I agree, I like the plain pepperoni better however but i have to have both when I go.

I need to find a good new york style joint
I haven't been in a while but Roma in Prairieville was legit NY Pizza. In fact he was from Brooklyn and got all of his ingredients from there, including the water to make the dough. He told me once that the water was the difference.
If anyone knows if they are still open let me know, I have moved but am craving it.

Had Pizza Delicious pepperoni and Margherita a few weeks ago and it was awesome! The crust was amazing.

Still open, different manager. Not Omar any longer, he retired.

Pizza Roma was very good, but best in Louisiana? No way.

Don't you need a baseline to determine a rank?

Well they be #1 on my list until someone puts out a better deep dish pizza around here. And the quality is outstanding, hence the mention. For me, it's hard to chose a best with so many styles available.

The shrimp and crab pizza is fiya, but you need a second mortgage to pay for it. Over fifty bucks if I remember correctly.

I really like Neapolitan pizza too. I just think Domenica has soggy crust.
Domenica has about as firm of a crust as a pizza can have while still pawing at the Neapolitan style. With that said, it's going to depend on your toppings. I'm generally a margherita or basic prosciutto kind of guy, and they have always come out perfect. If you're ordering toppings that are going to sweat out water or oil, I imagine things might go differently.

Our go to's are pepperoni, BBQ beef, and taco - all are great. I just like the crispy crust, light on the sauce, heavy on the toppings, and crispy pepperoni.
But yeah...outrageously priced.
