I tried to use the Search Function and it just locked up my computer.

Suggestions for a good place to eat and watch the first LSU game (preferably Warehouse District?).

I am going to be in town that weekend with some friends, can't believe missing the season opener, and need a place where we can eat / drink and watch the game. Looking for something better than Manning's as far as food goes.

In that area I would probably just go to Barcadia.
The sports bar at a he Hyatt is alright.

If you eat beforehand the District has a nice TV set up. Rusty Nail or even Nola Brewery are other options

Most non-hipster restaurants have TVs.

Sounds like you want Mannings experience without food like Mannings. There isn't a place like that.

Borgne has some big TVs and better food.

If you want to go somewhere more divish, I'd suggest Ugly Dog.

Way better options than Borgne if what you want is a TV and food. Seemed like you wanted a place where people were watching the game.

Ye Olde College Inn has TVs and good food. I would expect they would have the game on. You could eat at the bar. Not in the warehouse district, though.

Love their slaw

But hard to beat Borgne's neck and menu items.

They heat their BBQ in the microwave. There may not be worse BBQ in a 300 mile radius.

Think they lasted like 6 months in Metry is how bad they are,

Edit, not giving you a hard time.

If it’s not a huge crew and you’re not looking to act an arse, the bar at Meril.

Tchoup yard for a more raucous atmosphere
