Seems like they got raided atleast twice a month.
It was fricking ridiculous the shite that used to down in NO.
When Shanahan's got raided, we would just go around the corner to "Robert's Bar". An hour later, return to Shanahan's.

For us it was the warehouse, then hyde park(?), both of which I think were shut down before I was a junior. After that it was Jimmy's/Boot/Hangar, and some place on Earhart that was called RackEm's then Club Chaos. It was run by a bunch of Mexicans (this is like 2002-03), and I'm pretty sure it got shut down in under a week. Raided the day of our high school graduation, with probably over 90% of our graduating class in the bar. ATC all over the place, it was hilarious.

Really depends how old you are, are you single, with a lady or with friends. But the top 50 by Gambit did a good job. Some of the places are out of my price range until I am a paid worker.

Robert's the home of true bar flies. And ping-pong.

I went to the Sazerac Bar last Thursday. The renovations are beautiful. They need at least some background music. Bad music is better than no music at all.
