Ahh I didn't read the abv cutoff being 7.8%. I would have Sweetwater IPA in the top 50, that beer is tops.

I'm basically all IPA now. I can't imagine ordering a different kind of beer. My wine consumption has gone down about 85% since I got hooked. Liquor way down as well.

My perfect drinking sesh is now tequila-bloody mary followed by IPA (preferably with some weed in the beginning). Football season is going to rock with this new combo.

Let's all laugh at the cucks who continue to drink Bud Light into their 30's. Buncha trashy poors, innit mates?

No Other Half, Grimm, Sand city, Equilibrium, Hill farmstead, alchemist, monkish, casa agria, Parish too would be on there.

Hard to take the list serious

Variety is the spice of life, my good friend. And I'm not just talking about piney vs juicy IPAs either.

Not a single beer from Trillium or Treehouse on that list? Seems legit

I mean, I don't disagree with you, but none of the breweries you listed sent in beer to be considered.

You must be reading the list on the first page of the beers that didn't make the cut for the top 50...

Right I am just saying it is hard to take a best ipa list serious when the breweries that are doing it best are not represented even if it is totally their decision not to participate.

Not really? Do they have to force a brewery to submit a beer to not be lazy reporters?

Are the GABF organizers and judges lazy if Parish or Tree House doesn't submit any of their beers?

They said they requested from every brewery they knew about and even picked up local what the breweries wouldn't send them.

I'm wondering about Breakside's Wombat vs Wallaby. It was a one off from their hop lab that was only available for a very short time. I guess that was what was available at the time they made the request.
