India on Essen, Bay Leaf on Sherwood?
New to the area and am looking for the best Indian buffet in town?
Any suggestions?

Both of those are good but I think Bay Leaf is the best. Plus India's is a complete shite hole.

Is Curry N Kabab still open? It was by far my favorite when I lived down there.

Yeah, but they've gone downhill. Al Noor on George Oneal has a decent lunch buffet.

Al Noor gets my vote. Bay Leaf second, after that India's. Bay Leaf is actually the nicest one on the inside.

Yes it's Swagat now, and the food to just as good and maybe better. Just wish they had the mango pickle Al Noor used to have.

What's good at Swaggat that's not spicy?
Posted on 8/23/19 at 4:51 pm to Skillet
its all spicy, i think they dialed it down just a bit though it used to be wicked

+1 for Bayleaf. Never has a bad dish there. Indias was pretty good 20 years ago, but not so much now. One step in their bathroom will disgust you, while both the dining area and bathroom at Bayleaf is immaculate (bathroom would get the George Costanza stamp of approval).
