Best Indian Buffet in Baton Rouge?

India on Essen, Bay Leaf on Sherwood?

New to the area and am looking for the best Indian buffet in town?

Any suggestions?

Both of those are good but I think Bay Leaf is the best. Plus India's is a complete shite hole.

Yeah, but they've gone downhill. Al Noor on George Oneal has a decent lunch buffet.

Al Noor gets my vote. Bay Leaf second, after that India's. Bay Leaf is actually the nicest one on the inside.

bay leaf is goat. there used to be a place in the pizza hut way down coursey that i heard was an old bay leaf chef. looks like it is that Swagat place. but that wasnt the name of it.

Yes it's Swagat now, and the food to just as good and maybe better. Just wish they had the mango pickle Al Noor used to have.

its all spicy, i think they dialed it down just a bit though it used to be wicked

+1 for Bayleaf. Never has a bad dish there. Indias was pretty good 20 years ago, but not so much now. One step in their bathroom will disgust you, while both the dining area and bathroom at Bayleaf is immaculate (bathroom would get the George Costanza stamp of approval).
