Looking for a good burger in Mandeville/Covington/Madisonville.. Not a big fan of the times or the chimes. Any suggestions?

Best one I've had was at the tap room. They're not consistent at all though...sometimes my med rare comes out well done.

Maybe not the best, but Rusty Pelican (Old Mandeville) is always solid.

I tried Toad Hallow in downtown Covington for the first time. Best burger I've had in a while

Buds is always good #4 no onions hickory sauce. Old Rail is ok. They try to overwhelm you with toppings and the party itself is just ok.

Rusty Pelican is a good burger, but the owners seem like jerks.

Keith Young's is really good. Also, I know it's kind of like a chain, but Zea also makes a good burger.

Lola in Covington has a solid one for dinner. Don't think they have it for lunch service though.
