A lot of minced garlic
Salt

Is Curbside Food truck still around? That was the best a decade ago, for sure, when I still lived there.

They have a restaurant now and also own Merchant which makes the same burger. They are bringing the truck back soon.

And a completely different cooking process and ketchup but yeah totally close to meatloaf.
Yall got some weird complex itt about seasoning meat with an egg. It's an emulsifier that helps evenly season all the meat, and with a lb of ground beef one egg ain't changing the texture of the burger at all.

You can make that 86 now. I downvoted because OP asked for a location for burgers, not a fricking a recipe.

Don't know what it is about that place. Sometimes I go and it's the best burger in town. Other times it's completely mediocre. When they had the food truck, that prob would have been my answer for this thread.
My two favorite as of now are Mid City Beer Garden's Cheddar Burger (add Bacon and Beer Onions) or Solera's Burger:
Both probably have some of my favorite fries as well. Beer Garden's are more thick and crispy while Solera's are thin and crispy. Also, the manchego cheese fries at Solera are GOAT.

Same. Curbside is my favorite burger in town when it is on its game, but I think it is highly dependent on who is in the kitchen. I think someone forgetting to season the patty before hitting the flattop can make a huge difference.
I make a lot of burgers at home, and to me the biggest factors as to whether they come out good are: whether the surface they're being cooked on is hot enough, and whether you seasoned the outside of the patty liberally enough. That crust that forms when the cooking surface is hot is amplified when there's plenty of coarse salt on it.
To the guy who posted the recipe, this is probably why you got a lot of downvotes. The egg isn't ideal, but your downvotes are probably because it has been proven that seasoning the formed patties makes for way more flavor than mashing it into overworked meat like our parents did growing up. There's plenty of reading material on this online if you wanted to look into it.

I've always had a thing for riverside patty. Not necessarily the 'best' but a cheeseburger and tots from there just makes me happy. There's a lot of good burgers to be had throughout the city. I like some of the fancy loaded burgers like burgersmith and fat cow, but a solid straight up burger is good too.
my exact thoughts.

Minor League Pub in Denham has one of best burgers in the BR area.

Mooyah
It shouldn't be this good. But, it is.

Mason's Grill has arguably the best burgers IMO
Walk-Ons stuffed burger is great
Beau Soleil has a good burger
Brewbacher's Mexican burger is damned good
Tramonte's has a good burger as well
For the in between fast food/restaurant style MooYah is way better than Curbside, Fat Cow, Smash Burger etc
For fast food Wendy's is the best, hands down

The fact that you keep coming back to see how many people downvote you is embarrassing. I’m embarrassed for you.
