City Diner in Metarie, has delicious humongous pancackes served on a pizza pan they are so big. Seafood omelet was fantastic. Only been once though

Mason's Grill in Baton Rouge. Everything I've ever had there has been great and we've been several times. Build your own Bloody Mary card they have is great as well. Breakfast burger is probably my favorite, double sausage patty with runny egg and tomatoes and bacon on a sour dough bun.

Denver Biscuit Co is a recent one that comes to mind. Get The Franklin.

There are 3 that come to mind, but it has been years.

Vickery Feed Store in Dallas just north of the Greenville area enough food to kill you. If you ate there on a Saturday morning, you were done until lunch on Sunday

Louie's in B.R. the Michell with a side of Golden cheese grits ALWAYS got it done for me.....the Western was a distant second

Then......there was this diner in Morristown NJ ......the Lox and bagels were spectacular as was the OJ and coffee . Homemade cream cheese loades with herbs. It was just really good in a Yankee/NY Jewish deli sort of way

I still remember the blueberry muffins that they brought to your table before the meal as the best I have ever had. That was probably 40 years ago and I still think about those damn muffins from time to time.

Best since is Snooze a.m eatery in Katy, TX. Its a chain out of CO but we eat at this one fairly often (pre COVID). Their Pineapple upside down pancake should be against the law.

Second would be any Waffle House.

Albuquerque: Weck’s
San Diego: Hash House a go go

Second vote for Maple Stree Biscuit Company. Five and Dime with a side of their buffalo sauce is my go to meal there.

Honorable Mention: nothing can top those special rare weekend mornings when my Dad loaded us up in the car to go to Shoney’s breakfast buffet. Had to get there early on Sundays before all of the 30 person black families dressed up in their best suits and dresses showed up to close the place down
