Nothing is reasonable now, but Hot Tails has been the best for us so far. Lakeside Daquiris are tasty but small. When Fat Boys get going I go to them.

On a related note, what are you guys paying per pound for boiled crawfish right now? I got some from the trailer set up at the corner of Nicholson and Bluebonnet a week or so ago and they were pretty good. $5.99/lb, which is pricey, but seems about the norm this time of year. What prices are other finding?

$6 seems to be the going rate currently.

Hot Tails has been the best so far. $23.50 for 3 lbs., $37.50 for 5 lbs.

For pickup, the Crawfish on the Geaux food truck at Perkins and Acadian sells for $5.99 a pound.

ETA: Well, the sign in that photo shows $6.15..

Not sure if they're the best, but Sammy's Crawfish King 2 on S. Foster has a 5-lb. special with 10 shrimp, sausage, corn, & egg for $29.99. You might want to sample their "Sammy Sause" they put on before you get it. My wife loves the sauce but I prefer them plain.

Best tasting? Tony's on Plank is consistently good. And you can get a sack of oystas.

Cheapest? No clue. I only buy Tony's or Country Corner on Hundred Oaks; or boil my own.

Hot Tails had 5lbs for $37.99. Expensive but they were good size.

I plan on trying Hot Tails tomorrow if they're open. I went Sunday but they were closed.

Had Crawfish on the geaux Friday $6 per lb.

Medium and small mixed, but seasoned well

I saw you post that you got some the other day from him. Theyre running good right now? Might get a few sacks on Saturday
