Anything made by Stone. Used to be so hyped before it was more readily available.

Anything by TG? What? Morning Delight? Assasin?

And if a local brewery released Pliny right now, everyone here would call it mediocre. That is an undeniable fact.

Yeah I was going to say the same for Westbrook. Their flagship beers aren't hyped anymore, but I know their Pappy barrel aged coffee Mexican cake hasn't lost its hype for a lot of people.

Ghost hasn't lost the hype to me, just being brewed more. It still doesn't sit very long even with the increase in production

Not the hype, but the rarity that drives some folks has had an effect. My local spot in Walker has had some sitting on the shelf for days. Ghost lasting more than an hour just a few weeks ago was unheard of.

I had forgotten about that... the good ole craft beer days. Seems like I remeber bmoney getting pissed at someone calling him out for buying a case as well.

I've never had either of those but yeah they would be exceptions. Usually these limited big barrel beers still get hyped.

Maybe the hype is gone but I still like getting a case every January from my Michigan trading partner...

I drank quite a few last month when I was in CA. Yes, it is still a great beer to me.
I really don't know what losing "their hype" means to me or anyone else. A beer can still be great but not hard to find (Ghost this summer is an example).

I think my tastes have changed

Jai alai would be at the top of the list for me. I also used to love THA and sweetwater IPA but now don't buy them. Enjoy By series would also be up there
