Both.
Wine.
Red.... Mostly enjoy Rioja, Brunello, Zifs, Malbecs... so, the spicier varietals.
I don't mind good Cabs or other things with dinner.
White... Mostly Pinot or Sauv.
Whiskey.
Prefer SM Scotch. Mostly from the islands. More interesting and complex.
But I drink Bourbon and have a decent collection.
Will drink crown and jack if I have to.
Beer.
I like malty beers. But will drink anything if it's cold and I don't have other options.
Other.
I'll get a bloody or a mimosa at brunch. I'll find a day where I'm in the mood for gin, or a dirty martini, or a mule, or a redbull and vodka. Or some shots.
You don't know what you like unless you try it all.
And I find that there are moods and occasions for all types of alcohol. Just find what you like and enjoy it.

So far my "do not like" list is limited to Jager, bloody marys, anything with pickle juice, and that's about it.

Depends on the situation. If I'm drinking wine, it's either a Malbec or Cab. If I'm drinking whiskey, it's gonna be bourbon.

On average, my alcoholic beverages are about 40% beer, 40% liquor (various), and 20% wine.
While I've grown to like wine, I don't think that I'll ever get that 'Frank the Tank' feeling by drinking it. That probably won't happen with drinking whiskey straight but there have been times that I'll drink a mixed drink (such as with Crown) and it gives me that instant gratification of 'Where have you been lately?'

I enjoy both. Bourbon is my go-to.

I prefer wine with dinner. Not as big of a whiskey drinker as I used to be, have been making tequila drinks lately.

Whiskey almost exclusively. My grandfathers have been long gone, I called them Paw Paw. My grandkids call me Gun.
