Fat Cow has been written off since it opened. Shame because they could easily be so much better.

First visit to Fat Cow last week and won't go back. Overpriced and long wait for food.

Is fairly nice. But I'm not overpaying for average sushi for it.

It's more than just the view at Tsunami but more the overall atmosphere. I see it as a place to get dressed up and take the wife to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. But Ichiban, who I agree has equally quality sushi, is located in a strip mall on Essen and you are seated next to a tee ball team at the hibachi bar.

This is my complaint with sushi Yama. Most expensive place in town and it's packed with teenage kids.

I like ichiban's seating layout much better

God tell me about it. Sushi Yama is my GF and I's go-to spot, but every time I bring up sushi she wants to go to Tsunami. And as always, it's because of the view.

Louisiana weather suck 11/12 months of the year. I only rarely want to eat outside.

And it's very loud. I found the best time to go is 8:00. At that time, the place is usually half-full and occupied with an older crowd.

Pelican House - For the reasons already listed
Tsunami - Average at best way overpriced sushi and I don't need a "view".
Fat Cow - Burgers taste weird and similar to sausage patties or something.
Pluckers on Bluebonnet - Last time we went it was horrible service and all the food looked gross. Will still go to the other location.

the steakhouse at L'auberge is so incredibly disappointing. And that just blows my mind.

It blows your mind that a restaurant in a casino sucks?

You've clearly never been to Vegas.

Yeah, I'm not going to say that I just assumed it would suck, but I never really had high hopes for a fine dining place in L'Auberge. They have a captive audience, they don't have to be outstanding to stay busy.

There's a casino in Indiana that had an incredible steakhouse. Jeff Ruby's

They've since changed it to a dumb name like L'auberge did. Probably because they are both owned by the same company.

What's Vegas?

It's even funnier when closed restaurants make the list.

So basically Mansur's and Ruth's are the only places in town left to eat.

Might get grilled for saying this, but The Overpass Merchant didnt do it for me. Except the fried chicken skins.

Voodoo BBQ

I had been losing faith in Voodoo until I found out they do $2 pulled pork sandwiches every Tuesday. It is now in my lunch rotation.

I've written off Curbside despite the fact that I absolutely love their food. Their service is too slow and the place is always jam packed with customers. It simply takes me way too long to get my order. It realy sucks, too, because I want to eat there more often, but just don't have the time.

Updated list:
George's (Smokey)
Curbside (due to wait)
Jay's BBQ (bland)
Ralph & Kacoo's (turrible)
Druscilla's (also turrible)
Voodoo (better options)
Roman's (credit card scam)
Arzi's (better options)
Zorba's (too far and Lebonese wife would never stoop so low)
Tio Jave's (worst fajita's ever)
Superior (too expensive and loud, but food is awesome)
Zoe's Kitchen (weird seasoning)
Buffallo Wild Wings (gross)

Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded.
