The line out the door of that place will look like the Parade Grounds before the frat shakedown

The place is going to make a fortune. What’s a one bedroom go for at Nicholson Gateway? $1,400/month

An additional 11,000 square feet of rooftop space remains available for lease.

That is strange... I wonder if there are some restrictions on the type of business they want there, or if rent is astronomical. I feel like a rooftop bar directly across from Tiger Stadium and the PMAC will have basically a guaranteed 10 or so days of max capacity crowds, slinging drinks out like crazy.

I think it’s outstanding. I’ve been about 5-6 times and I’m always impressed with the quality and freshness.

God could you imagine? Not to mention before some baseball games, I can't imagine it'd be much more than a 10 minute walk from there to Alex Box

I wonder if they are holding out for the right tenant. Like you don't hurry up to put a damn Applebees in there.

Maybe you meant to add “owned by white people” to that statement.

So the frick what if it’s owned by white people. Absolutely irrelevant.

Thy don’t claim to be some sort of "muy authentico" establishment.

So tiring to see all this shite on white people bs

Triggered. No one was shitting on white people. Saying there are no good taco places in br is simply untrue. However, the statement that there are no good taco places in Baton Rouge owned by white people is likely true in my opinion (I haven’t eaten them all, like izzo’s but much prefer el tio). Merely making a distinction. Torchy’s will likely change that and I’m excited to try it.

After they closed my precious Almaza, I've been starved for good, reasonably priced Greek food.

Arzi's? Serop's? Albasha is good, not sure what you're talking about. Roman's kinda sucks regardless of price.

Is Tacodeli opening a place in BR? No. There are lots of good taco places in Austin. That's not relevant here.

The rent is “too damn high.” My guess is Torchys will be paying between $13,500 and $15,000 a month in rent...

That’s a lot of Tacos.
