#3 Jacques-Imo’s vs #6 La. Lagniappe
As for all games, anyone can vote. Anyone can also tell in the same post us why their choice should win. Politiking is encouraged. But you can only post once in a thread while the game is being played. If you post more than once in the thread while the game is underway, your vote is disqualified. You may post in the thread AFTER the dead line for votes.
Also remember new round 2 rule: NEW RULE!!! I waited after the first round to change this rule. PLEASE post your vote first then discuss why you voted after in your post. In any voting thread, the FIRST competitor mentioned in the post will be counted as the vote. Ie: if your post is this: "PLACE A SUCKS, I VOTE PLACE B", place A gets your vote.
Voting for this game ends at 7am on 4/30/2009.

LA Lagniappe by FAR.
if you asked me this 5 years ago i would say Jacques-Imo's without a doubt...but since that time it seems like LA Lagniappe has improved, while Jacques Imo's has taken a dive in quality and a hike in price. At this point Jacques-Imo's is a tourist trap or "urban excursion" for northshore or metairie yuppies. Also, since Austin left us the fried chicken is sorely lacking.

Jacques-Imo's
The panned rabbit is a clincher, but the alligator/andouille cheesecake sends it over the top...

Louisiana Lagniappe based on most recent experiences at competitors. Maybe my expectations were too high for Jacques-Imo's, but I was disappointed with the experience. So far I have not been disappointed with Louisiana Lagniappe despite my frequent visits.
