Jimmy Cho, 50, was found dead in his home yesterday. RIP.

Sad man. I’ve been going there since it was in the strip mall off Belle Chasse hwy and remember him working at Cafe Zen prior to that.
The Chiang Mai Noodles with any protein is my go too.

I very often hear other chefs mention this as their favorite, or one of their favorite restaurants in New Orleans. Sad to hear of his passing, but also respectable that he let his food stand alone without craving the media attention a lot of chefs chase these days.

Wondering if it was suicide based on how Banana Blossom's tribute post reads about not knowing others' silent struggles and about people not knowing how much they are loved. Sad either way since he was clearly beloved along with his restaurant.
