Chicken and Beer if you’re in Terminal D

Solid beer list and while I wasn’t hungry and didn’t eat, every plate I saw looked amazing.

Fun fact: the place is co-owned by Ludacris. And if you go, you’ll walk in and think “oh yeah that makes a lot of sense”

Popeyes, concourse B. Set up to somewhat mimic The Varsity, at least in terms of the "move along, hurry up and order", yell-at-the-customer rubric. Fun to watch the confused non-Southerners deal with this.

I'd be curious to see if a certain sandwich has hit there yet.

The best have already been mentioned. I’m there 4x/month. One Flew South has great sushi and a good selection of liquor/cocktails, Varasano’s pizza is fantastic, everything at Ecco is good, the chicken fried steak at Chicken and Beer is delicious, and the taco place by Ecco is well above average. You can eat and drink very well there.

Sweetwater bar. The food sucks but they have good beer

40/40 club

I got a nice cheese board to go from some place but I was so drunk during connection I couldn’t tell you where. Took it on my flight and drank white wine and blacked out

I was there last Tuesday and the guy at the counter told this old lady that wanted to have a conversation with him to move over and let me order

As previously mentioned, One Flew South is normally my go-to. Grab a Tropicalia and a pulled duck sandwich.

Once you get some suggestions here, GateGuru is a fantastic app for traveling. It shows all of the amenities in any airport, along with their terminal and gate location. Each of the eateries are rated, and there's a map of the airport included. Invaluable for those layovers.

Find the pizza place , LAFamiia I think it is upstairs by a piano Bar. and burger joint, Awesome myou will see pilots in there. They have Italian beer on tap which is also good.

I always hope to have a layover there for just this place.

Usually I’d get Popeyes for food since whenever I’m in ATL it had been a while...

Always loved getting a milkshake at Bobby’s Burger Palace in Terminal B. Amazing milkshakes. Burgers and fries are good too but the shakes are where it’s at.

Got the meatloaf open face from one flew south, solid

But i was still hungry and got a slaw chili dog from Varsity, it was better.

Of note, the Popeyes in ATL was out of the sandwich,
