Anyone in the BR area consistently carries Eagle Rare bourbon?

Welcome to bourbon allocation

Places will probably get a case a month or so, but some will hold it in the back. If it does hit shelves it's not going to last more than a day.

ETA: I've seen more Eagle Rare picks than the standard offering in the past year

Can’t find it in Texas either. I happened to be in Pendleton, OR for a work trip. 3 hours east of Portland in the middle of nowhere. I was grabbing dinner one night and decided to pop into a local liquor store. It wasn’t the size of a small gas station and I wasn’t expecting much. More bored than anything. On the shelf we’re 3 bottles. They were $30 each and I had to knock the dust off of them. I felt like scum buying all 3. I asked the guy behind counter if it was ok and he couldn’t care less.

And to think I used to use it a mixer with coke just a few years ago, and it was only a couple dollars more than a bottle of JD.

Crazy times!

It’s out there, the Churchhills pick is good and they had some regular ER last week supposedly, rouses and etc have it often, just doesn’t last long.

S&P on Nicholson keeps it in the back. Gotta buy a few other bottles though

Eagle was an everyday bourbon until 2 years ago. Now they allocate it and make you purchase a ton of other crap just to get a case.

Can usually find it in ATL but it’s 1 bottle per day limit. For BT as well.

I’m pretty sure it was easy to find around the Nola market even less than a year ago.
I haven’t been buying any bourbon lately, but the market is beyond nuts.

Living in the Nashville has its benefits, bourbon being one and lower taxes and insurance to fund the habit.
