It is absolutely foul. One of the worst fast food places I've ever been. There are infinite better options for that style of food.

I like it a lot

My gf does not and sends me videos of their sanitation which is not very good (worse than other fast food type places)

I eat there less than 1X a month. but when I'm in a pinch it's better to me than stopping at Jack in the Box

It's pretty damn good. You can get a kids meal for cheap and it will be a good enough sample size to see if you want to venture further into the menu.

This. The average bowl is like 800 calories before making any changes

800 calories is perfectly fine for lunch or dinner assuming you're not a 90# woman and you're doing a modicum of exercise, especially since most of the Cava menu is 30-50 grams of protein in those 800 calories.

I'd lose weight if all I ate was 1600 calories between lunch & dinner, and I'm a lot closer to 100# than 300# + don't have a 20 year old's metabolism.

Very good for a lunch spot, can get pricy

How can you call it pricey? I can get out of there with a custom bowl for under $12. Can’t get a full meal at ,any places for that price.

It’s decent. Great option for fast food.

I like it but something in their food gives me horrible heartburn, which is very uncommon for me.

Zoe's was way better, RIP. Had high expectations for Cava but it's just OK to me. Sort of like a Halal Guys went to 30A.

They did. Zoe's was founded in Homewood (suburb of Birmingham) and we had a few of them around the suburbs. I forget when the acquisition happened, but I don't think there are any Zoe's left now.

Cava is good. It's on the healthier side of fast casual.

It's called bringing your lunch to work. It amazes me that people will spend $100 a week (including drink) eating out at work.

Used to be a big fan. Super salty though. Now I always feel bloated. Prices have increased significantly too.

I'm not a fan, but I'm salty about Zoe's Kitchen going away. That was a go-to for a quick, healthy meal - we probably ate there once a month or so. Back when my wife was in sales, she used Zoe's for a lot of catering - she did so much business through them, that they had a promotion where you earned points for each dollar spent and she was able to get a Nintendo Wii.
