If so how do y’all prepare it?

I’ve eaten it and enjoyed it. But never prepared it myself.

I had the beef and kidney pie with bone marrow from St. John Smithfield in London and wow. Worth the trip just for that dish.

Grilled Anticuchos (veal heart) were the best thing I ate in Peru.

It was so good I didn’t feel bad I was eating baby cow heart.

Liver and onions is one of my very favorites. Oddly, places like Luby's and Picadilly make it the best of anyone. And since it's not as popular as most all their dishes, they will load a Luann up with enough you can barely eat it all.

Does calves liver count? The best I have ever had was at a Michelin *** restaurant in Paris - Le Cinq at the Four Seasons George V Hotel. Delicious. Also had tete de veau (veal's head) in Paris.

My Grandma always got fresh calf livers and made liver and onions. Incredibly good, but never found a restaurant that does it as well as an experienced home cook.

And you probably already know this, but I know my Grandma soaked the calf livers in milk before cooking, just like she did for game.

Really?

I’ve been wanting to eat more organ meats lately to improve my overall health

Sauteed calves liver and onions is one of the most simplest dishes you could ever make. It's very cost effective and probably one of my favorite comfort meals.

I've had beef liver many times and the trick is to not cook it too long as it tends to toughen up and dry out the longer it cooks.

I cook mine down in a brown gravy heavy with onions and my favorite seasonings. I cook it until it just firms up and is a between medium rare and well done. Just a tinge of pink to it when cut and it's good to go for me.

I was listening to a podcast the other day. They were talking about liver being one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet.

IF you don't already have cholesterol issues......If you do, then it's not a good choice.
