We bought a brand of spicy Bloody Mary mix we weren’t familiar with and it has incredible flavor but it is just way to spicy to drink. Was thinking of maybe using it in a shrimp creole. I know I cooked a recipe a long time ago that called for spicy v8 but don’t remember what it was. Thoughts?

So, it wasn't good enough to use in alcohol and you're willing to possibly ruin a good shrimp dish instead of just tossing it out....

I've tossed the dregs of a bottle of Mr & Mrs T's into a pot of chili with no ill results.

A while back I marinated some chicken in B.M. mix overnite. Threw it on the grill and everyone raved about it. FIL said best grilled chicken he had in a long time. Hell chickens $.98/lb. try it.

I mean...it's basically just tomato juice and spices.

I like to slug some Zing Zang in my duck sauce piquant. It’s origin started with me being inebriated at a hunting camp and out of tomato sauce and kind of stuck around. Good stuff

I've used it in tomato aspic. I used it in a soup recipe, also, but I can't recall it right now. I made it several times, I believe.

This is a bloody mary shrimp recipe you might like. It calls for tomato juice and other ingredients in bloody marys. You could just use the mix.

Mix it with beef bouillon and use it in chili, corn maque choux.. just about any dish you would use tomato sauce in.

Did you miss where I said it had an incredible flavor but was to spicy for a drink?

Hmm, I'd be tempted to turn it into a granita to use as an icy garnish for some raw oysters (too late in the year, I know) or a shrimp cocktail or chilled crabmeat. What's too hot to drink 8 oz of, might be the perfect heat level for a frozen garnish.

This (along with tomatoes) is screaming sauce for stuffed cabbage rolls.

We’ve used it to simmer some cabbage in a few times, and it was good.

So what is this Bloody Mary mix that is too hot for drinks. I like my Bloody Marys spicy. I have to add Habanero hot sauce to Zing Zang.

Calandro's has Spice E Tom.. it.s good.. nice kick.. again, mixing it with a seafood stock for fish stew or bone broth for a beef and vegetable soup is very good.
