What are some other prank calls you all have heard?

One Saturday afternoon, a caller asked Tom if he has heard of or tried the new Mexican restaurant they just opened in Metairie, near Bonnabel.
Caller says, their menu is really comprehensive - burritos, tacos, nachos, you name it. Tom replies, I'm actually not familiar with this place; what's it called? Caller responds, it's the new Taco Bell on the corner of Vets and Bonnabel.
Tom becomes instantly enraged, hangs up on the caller, and then bungles through a rant about the worthlessness of chains.

Just sad....like the easily enraged old man down the block who rages about any and everything. Why not laugh, and then name 7-8 independent Mexican or Tex-Mex places if he hates chains so much? I think that’s the cornerstone of my disappointment with his ossification: he’s got broadcast bandwidth and could be directing people to the dozens and dozens of decent, modest places with no marketing budget.
Like NolaNica on Airline in Kenner, past the airport. Nicaraguan, not Mexican. Delicious jalapeño yuca fritters, among other tasty items.

He takes his job waaaaay too seriously.
And he needs to change his intro music.
He needs a young co host but I am sure he would never be open to that.

Yeah, that’s where he has struggled most lately...with directions and the names of restaurants.

I heard that today. Lol. What’s up with that?

You're being an arse, but people are joking around about it.

Wait, what are you talking about?

I wish I could hear this show any archives to listen to?

Imagine this. Everyone has a peculiar, effete uncle who is into show tunes, but you’ve always known he was straight—just a weirdo. The guy who is a lay Eucharistic minister and likes to dip his balls into the sacrament in the sacristy around 0745 on Sundays. Well, he has gradually and obviously been losing his mind and becoming less and less coherent on the radio for 3 or so years now.
That’s the Food Show.

It's 2018, he doesn't need to remember directions but he really needs to remember names of places.
