Freemason is my jam.
Lil Smack is pretty good too, haven't tried the other offerings.

I had picked up a pack of their raspberry sour ale, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would be nice to have in an ice chest on the beach.

Never seen that one. Freemason is definitely a beach/boat beer. They serve it at most restaurants on the coast and it's damn good on tap. I need to get a keg for a big boil.

Freemason is my boat beer of choice

The coconut porter is really good and Lil Smack is a decent IPA.

I'm on travel up the east coast and have been drinking this, because it's on tap everywhere, Evolution IPA, I enjoy it.

Have heard their sours are good. Im a fan of the Lil' Smack. My wife likes the pineapple wheat.
I am a huge fan of the can art. I might be partial because I grew up wade fishing on the Mississippi coast.

they've had some good sours. coconut porter is solid. lil smack can be hit or miss. sometimes it's fantastic--other times it's not very good

I'm going to have to get some Freemason. Some of the best times I've had fishing is from camping out on that island.

Speaking of beer on tap..... Gaston WTF is going on with the taps on the coast? (Not to derail the thread)
Popped into TBT in BSL Sunday afternoon to enjoy the breeze. There are 10 taps, 5 had no tap handles and 1 of the other 5 was out.
Couple places were terrible and had nothing but fricking shock top and blue moon on. I did knock back a couple Freemasons though cause when in Rome...

Cuz's has it, not sure about C&C...think so. TBT...now that he has a few open, who knows what's going to happen to the quality?
You should see Sideways selection, 20 taps...4 handles of crap.

You been to his whiskey/steak place yet?

Oh yea, multiple times. It's a treat to sit at the bar and have a fat steak and some straight whiskey. Had a couple of $600 / 2 couples dinners as well. Ugh.

I’ll be going to Biloxi soon and was going to check out Biloxi Brewing. Is it worth a stop or should I just head to Chandeleur (I’ve been twice and enjoy their beer / taproom setup)?
On that Biloxi topic, Mary Mahoneys will be our nicer dinner night. I need a recommendation on where to eat the second dinner night in a slightly more casual vibe. Staying at The White Hiude hotel but haven’t heard great reviews on its restaurant.

I don't know much about Biloxi, we usually eat Vietnamese when over that way. I'd think places in a Ocean Springs or over my way in Bay St Louis would offer more eclectic fare than Mary Mahoneys...and the more casual meal as well.
Get a French cold cut Banh Mi from Le Bakery if you like Viet fare. Their bread is so damn good.
I've never been to any brewery on the coast.

I rotate between Freemason and Biloxi Brewing’s Biloxi Blonde. Good stuff.

I’m not a craft beer guy by any means, but I love that Freemason beer.
