Headed to Orange Beach in June. Haven't been in a few years - any recs? I do plan on trying the new Jesse's on the Bay in Fort Morgan. Cosmo's and The Gulf are on my hit-list. Not a fan of Cobalt.

I like the fried shrimp at Doc's.

Cosmos vibe sucks

Big Fish is good right there for a nicer dinner

The Gulf has a great grouper sandwich

CoastAL opened up last year right on the beach when you get into OB, and it’s a really awesome setup with decent bar food and drink. Haven’t been inside to the restaurant yet

Louisiana Langniappe
Zekes
Fishers
Lartiques for the steamed royal red/argentinas

Last May we had The Gulf, Cosmos, and Louisiana Lagniappe. Enjoyed the food at all three. Would rank my meals LL, The Gulf, Cosmos.

Someone else mentioned the grouper sandwich at The Gulf. It was damn good. And the vibe there is solid when the weather is nice.

Closed, unfortunately. I had a nice meal pretty recently at Costal. Cobalt on the other hand has been pretty crappy the last couple times I've been.

We've been going to Cosmos for years and love it, especially the cheese dip. Like I said, it's been a few years though.

I've always found it to be overrated.

Been a couple of years, but we always hit Wolf Bay. Hog Wild BBQ is also pretty good.

We eat at the Pier House along with other places already mentioned here and it has always been good.

RIP Fishers. Anyone know what’s going to happen to that location?

Used to love the one in Elberta before it burned down. Some of the best fried seafood I've ever had.

Very surprising. The food and ambiance was great. Always seemed busy too.

Big Mike’s on Canal Rd for a good steak.
The Gulf
Doc’s
We’ve been enjoying the Sloop under the bridge in Gulf Shores. Great Philly cheesesteak.

Extremely over priced. Food is mediocre. Building is nice. If you go at night, bring a flashlight for the parking lot. Gravel parking lot with pot holes everywhere and very little lighting.

Another overhyped place to me. Would be a good option if it was close. But not worth the hike to get to it.

They will reopening in a brand new building on the Bon Secour River just south of where they are located now. Building is gorgeous with a great view. Hopefully the food stays on par or improves. I enjoy the hamburger steak, fried green tomatoes and steaks. Wife like the seafood pasta and 1/2 price martinis on Wednesdays.
