Something ain’t adding up…….you have a “signed contract” with your neighbor to use his lot..lol. Sounds more like you’ve been a pain to your neighbor and he’s drawing a line in the sand…literally.

re: Work going on at the Bluffs?

It was originally owned by a billionaire. Similar set up as Squire Creek. Could lose money ever year and it didn’t matter. Then Jim Tanner bought into it with the billionaire and eventually owned it all. I guess tanner wasn’t quite as liquid as he needed to be. Eventually he lost everything he had, including the bluffs. Since then, there’s been a couple different groups try to revamp and run……never worked. At one time that place was incredible.

For the first time in a long time, the BREC office is actually green lighting some projects that are needed.

Care to mention any of these projects?
You can say Santa Maria and/or BREC is run terribly. There is NO denying that. But it’s crazy to say SM is a bad course. The layout is well above average for a muni. It’s also fairly priced.

But BREC sucks and has sucked for my lifetime.

You’re the best at moving the goal posts.
About $80 per visit for mine. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. Night and day difference.
You have an old roof. The policy is not a warranty. You have to take responsibility for the roof yourself.
2000 PGA Championship …. Tiger Woods versus Bob May.

Would nice to see it back open and modernized. But the neighborhood around it is getting worse and worse.

How about watering frequency and length immediately after seeding. Last time I did this, I watered twice a day for 2 weeks. How long should I run the heads each cycle?

I don’t know what’s ideal. But I cut mine at 2.25 and it thrives.

That makes sense. Confirms its Carpet Grass. It’s actually a great looking grass. Did well during the drought last year. Doesn’t get many weeds in it. Why is Carpet Grass not used more? It’s better than the St Aug and Centipede that I have by FAR.
