No. Things are completely different. This board gets a decent amount of traffic. Chicken has restaurants that pay for advertising on his site. It's probably a good policy that restaurant owners stay out of things on here. I'm not sure if Beauxnes is a paying advertiser or not. I suppose that could make a difference. But if you're not a paying advertiser on the site then you definitely have no business pimping your restaurant on here.

coaches, players, the rant, etc. is different than actual businesses being discussed on a message board that operates on monies generated from advertising revenue ... chicken doesn't run this place for free with his good looks .. it takes money ... you have to draw the line somewhere .. when restaurant owners start posting in here, good or bad, they are advertising their restaurants ... this isn't fair to paying sponsors of the site .. this is why management doesn't encourage this .. i know beauxnes at one time was an advertiser .. and even then .. i don't know if i would have been on here posting in threads if i were him ... but i don't think he's an advertiser now .. if i am wrong, i apologize ..

My business to a great degree involves how my employees handle clients. If a client doesn't "complain", then I may not know I have a problem, even if I'm standing over 15 people at various times of the day. When a client expresses dissatisfaction, I look into it immediately and take whatever action I can take to rectify the situation. I use it as an "opportunity" for my employees to improve skills as opposed to the alternative which me telling them to hit the road. This is especially true if I have new employees and I consider my employees to be in training all the time and improving all the time. I appreciate it when my clients allow me to use their situation to try and improve. Like Beauxnes, I shoot for 100% satisfaction. I may never get there and probably won't, but my percentage will be and is higher if I shoot for perfection.
I can instruct from here until Tuesday, but the learning experiences are very valuable when we've got a specific situation with a real client involved. Tends to make a bigger impression on some folks when they're being corrected.
Beauxnes did exactly what I would have done. There's nothing sarcastic about it. If Rag doesn't want to take him up on the offer, so be it. You'd be helping Beauxnes if you take him up on it. Don't look at it as just a "free meal" to try and satiate you. That's not what it is. Perhaps, you can speak with Beauxnes, personally. Things in writing on messageboards don't always deliver the message exactly as intended. I suspect if Beauxnes had said the same thing, in person, you wouldn't have questioned the sincerity as you would have heard it in his voice.
