nah .. the part about it (cooking me this free meal) will give him the opportunity to teach his staff how to do it right even when he's not there is what I'm talking about .. strange comment .. seems like something that shoulda happened ages ago .. this isn't the first complaint he's ever gotten about cold food ..

The ribs are already cooked. All they do is take it out the cooler and warm it up and baste it. That's it. The reason there's no excuse is because you're whole job is to take ribs out the cooler that have already been cooked and heat them up.
It's not like microwaving fish or anything...

I understand what you are saying, but like I said I think he was being serious and it came across overly dramatic. I know Beauxnes and I know he takes it personally when the kitchen screws something up.

Rag, I would take him up on his offer. You spent money at his place and were dissatisfied. He's offered basically what amounts to a make up. Either way I think he gets your point, and he sounds sincere to me about correcting it.
My last 2 trips to TJ Ribs were ok, but my trip to the Siegen lane one was awesome.

TJ Ribs hasn't lost my business at all .. I'll just never go back to Acadian again .. I love the food at Siegen ... So no need to take a freebie .. I understand what you are saying .. I am a loyal customer and I am telling him what he needs to know to get better .. that's all I want .. He needs to be more concerned with the people that got cold ribs tonite that said nothing, walked out, will never come back to TJ's ever again and will tell 15 friends in the process ..

There was no sarcasm in my offer or my comment. I don't know what business you are in but in my business you have to teach everyday. When you have a chance to show the guy that puts out 600 to 800 ribs a day that he has to do another one for free because someone was unhappy with what they were served then you use that moment as a tool to teach all of you employees about executing properly 100% of the time. They need to be reminded, and are, constantly that each order goes to a PERSON, and each person deserves the perfect product. Some businesses may be happy with 90% of their customers being happy. I see that 10 customers out of 100 or not in that scenario. I may not ever reach 100% customer satisfaction every day but it doesn't stop me from trying and it doesn't stop me from offering to right a wrong.

me too...i went to tj's acadian the other night, and when i ordered the shepard's pie the waitress looked at me like i was freaking crazy. admittedly, i was drunk, but c'mon.
i raised a ruckus, and was asked to leave... on the way out i tried to steal shaq's size 29 shoes on display and a brouhaha ensued. those tj's bouncers almost made me spill my drink. this kinda crap doesn't happen to me at siegen.
